Game Development FAQs
1. What is game development?
Game development involves creating action, role-playing, sports, strategy, casino, and other games for web, PC, mobile (Android, iOS), cloud, and console platforms. Developing cross-platform games is possible today. Games can be AAA or indie. Any game must be programmed, designed, released, and tested until it’s complete.
2. What are the stages of game development?
Three stages are usually followed when building a game from scratch that requires strong game development skills. Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production.
- Pre-production – In pre-production, we understand our clients’ ideas and incorporate all their needs through brainstorming. The most important questions this phase must answer are “What is the game about?, What is its purpose for the market? What are the processes, tools, and technologies involved?, and What is the cost and time it will take to develop?
- Production – Production is the most active stage because many entities and individuals participate. Game developers constantly ask clients about their needs and meet them. The stage shapes the idea. The stage covers UI UX design, coding, developing, sound design, debugging, etc.
- Post-production – After the difficult production process, the game is published, tested, monitored, and maintained. We go above and beyond in post-production, providing marketing and promotion strategies to boost our client’s digital presence.
